报告摘要:A knot is an embedded circle in 3 dimensional Euclidean space up to ambient isotopies. In knot theory not only properties of knots in 3 dimensional Euclidean space are considered but also embedded manifolds in various manifolds. Moreover it is known that low dimensional manifolds can be studied by using knots. In this talk we study basic properties of knots and related topics.


报告人简介:Kim, Seongjeong,2018年博士毕业于Moscow State university,现就职于Bauman Moscow State Technical University。研究方向为Low dimensional topology, Knot theory, in particular on Algebraic structures of quandles, Braid and representation theory, link invariants with several skein relations, Triangulations of spaces。
