报告摘要:
In this talk, I will present an extended Galerkin framework for the design and analysis of conforming, nonconforming and discontinuous Galerkin methods for partial differential equations. By introducing appropriate multiple discretization variables, most existing and new Galerkin methods can be derived in a unified framework and the well-posedness and error estimates for these methods can be estimated within the same framework by using the standard Brezzi theory for mixed method. Examples will be given for Laplacian and elasticity equations.

洪庆国,博士,先后在奥地利科学院Radon研究所(RICAM),德国Duisburg-Essen University,美国The Pennsylvania State University 从事博士后研究。目前研究兴趣包括迭代法,间断有限元方法及应用。在SIAM J. Numer. Anal., Numer. Math., Comput. Methods Appl. Mech. Engrg.和中国科学-数学等国内外期刊发表系列论文。
